Definitions

Operator: Collectively refers to those responsible for operating the facility.
Host: A person who, with the Operator's approval, reserves the space to hold an event or gathering (the responsible party for the booking).
Guest: A person who attends an event or gathering held by a Host.
Space: The facility located on the 1st floor of DY Building, 609-1 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Space Owner: The original owner of the above space.

Purpose of These Rules

To help the Operator manage the space in accordance with these operating rules.
To guide Hosts in using the space as intended, following the predefined rules.
To prevent conflicts between Hosts and the Operator before, during, and after use, and to serve as the standard for resolving disputes afterward.

Basic Obligations

Hosts have the following obligations. Even where not specifically stated in these rules, if the Operator determines that an act violates these basic obligations, facility use may be restricted.
(Restore to Original State) The facility must be kept in the same condition as before use.
(Prior Approval for Commercial Activity) Prior approval from the Operator is required to conduct commercial activity in the space.
(No Harm to Others) Do not cause harm of any kind to Hosts, Guests, or the Operator.
(Compliance) By using the space, you are deemed to have agreed to these operating rules. Failure to comply may result in reservation cancellation beforehand, removal during use, or restriction of future use afterward.
The Operator has the following obligations.
(Fairness) The Operator must ensure the space is run according to the established rules, so that a Host who follows the rules is not disadvantaged relative to one who does not.
(Facility Maintenance) The Operator must ensure Hosts and Guests can use the facility comfortably.

Reservations

Reservations are made through the announced method (Google Form) before the intended time of use.
As a rule, reservations should be requested at least one week before the intended date of use. In urgent circumstances, reservations may be permitted with the Operator's approval, provided the interests of already-confirmed Hosts are not harmed.
Enter the requested information truthfully when reserving. If false information is identified, you may face reservation denial beforehand, suspension and removal during use, or restriction of future use afterward.
When applying, create and submit your own confirmation code. It is used for identity verification, such as confirming reservations and deposit payments.
Reservations are recommended for dates within two months of the application.
For safety, we recommend 50 attendees or fewer; larger events should be discussed with the Operator at the application stage.
For exclusive use of the space (where entry must be limited to the Host and those the Host designates), we recommend use within 4 hours per day for fairness to other Hosts. If longer use is needed or the Operator recognizes a sufficiently public purpose, it may be arranged in advance with the Operator.
Recurring reservations are recognized for up to one quarter. After that, reapplication is required as a rule.
The Operator must announce the reservation status via calendar, for Hosts to reference when reserving.

Reservation Confirmation and Deposit

A reservation is confirmed at the point the deposit is placed with the Operator.
The deposit is currently 500,000 KRW or the equivalent of 500 USD in stablecoin.
If cancelled within 7 days (168 hours) of the date of use after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable and will be used for space operations. If your schedule may change, discuss it in advance at the application stage.
After departure, once the Operator inspects the facility and finds no issues, the full deposit is refunded within 3 business days of receiving photos.

Access

The space is opened and closed with a card key stored in a smart key box. After the reservation is confirmed, the Host opens the key box with the provided passcode to retrieve the card key.
After use, the space must be closed (switched to security mode) and the card key returned to the smart key box.
Access means (card key, smart key box passcode, etc.) must not be given to or used by anyone other than the Host.
Accessing the facility with access means outside of reserved hours is prohibited as a rule. However, entry for reasons such as advance preparation or retrieving lost items is permitted, provided the Operator is notified of the circumstances.
Loss of access means must be compensated at actual cost.

During Use

Regarding entry by persons other than the Host:
The Host describes in detail which Guests will enter when reserving. As a rule, no one beyond that is expected to enter.
Real names or personal information of others need not be recorded; noting the general nature of the group and the number of people is sufficient.
If an unspecified number of people is expected to enter for the event, that too must be approved in advance via the reservation form.
If persons not approved in advance are expected to become Guests, the Host has a duty to notify the Operator beforehand.
If Guests are unavoidably added on the day, the Host fully vouches for those Guests and takes responsibility for and compensates any resulting damage.
The Host bears primary responsibility for all facility and Guest damage occurring during operating hours. Operating hours include not only the reserved and approved time but also time spent entering early for preparation or cleaning up after the reserved time.
However, damage caused by reasons attributable entirely to negligence in maintenance by the Operator or Space Owner is excepted.
The Host is also released from responsibility where it is clearly proven that the fault was not the Host's.
To demonstrate this, the Host must photograph the condition of the space before use.
The Host has a duty to pay particular attention to the following and to resolve issues as they arise.
Mediate conflicts among Guests.
Check whether Guests damage the facility. If damage occurs, keep evidence of who caused it. Without evidence, the Host is responsible as a rule.
The surrounding area is residential and the 2nd floor is another office; refrain from excessive noise so as not to cause them harm.
In particular, do your utmost to prevent situations where residents report noise and police are dispatched. If police are dispatched on a report during use, the Host has a duty to inform the Operator.

Departure

Upon departure, the Host photographs the post-use condition of the facility and sends it to the Operator.
Any moved facilities must be restored to their original positions.
The cleaning standard is to restore the space to a condition the next Host could enter and use as-is.
Waste generated during the event is handled according to the Operator's guidance.
If cleaning is not done or is insufficient upon departure, a 50,000 KRW cleaning fee is deducted from the deposit and future use may be restricted.
After use, close the space (switch to security mode) and return the card key to the smart key box.

Prohibitions and Cautions

Strictly no smoking — smoking is not permitted indoors or on the terrace.
No subletting (re-lending). The Host who applied must use the space directly and may not lend it to a third party.
Commercial activity requires prior approval. If it competes with a public or non-profit event on the same date, the Operator's judgment may take priority.
Unauthorized access to or hacking of the shared network, and excessive occupation of shared resources such as crypto mining, are prohibited.
Discrimination or harassment of any form on the basis of gender, age, nationality, background, skill level, etc., is not permitted.
Manage your personal belongings yourself. The space is not responsible for loss or theft.
