A guide for the Host who reserves the space to hold an event or gathering.
A separate visitor guide is provided that you can share with participants joining your event.
Welcome
localhost:web3 is a non-profit community space run to foster genuine offline connection in Korea's Web3 ecosystem. It is operated by the team at their own expense and generates no profit.
By day it has served as a community hub open to all, and by evening as a venue for various meetups and gatherings. Creating a good event as a Host is itself the greatest contribution to the purpose of this space.
There is no rental fee. This space is provided free of charge. You only place a deposit to confirm your reservation, which is fully refunded if there are no issues.
1. Reservation & Application
Step | Details |
① Apply | Apply via Google Form. As a rule, apply at least one week before the intended date of use. |
② Review & Confirm | The Operator reviews the event's nature, timing, and headcount, and checks that the event's purpose aligns with the space. |
③ Confirmation Code | When applying, you submit a confirmation code you create yourself (3 letters + 4 digits, e.g., HFJ7433).
It is later used to verify your identity when confirming the reservation and deposit payment. |
④ Deposit | Your reservation is confirmed when you place a deposit of 500,000 KRW or the equivalent of 500 USD in stablecoin. |
⑤ Access Info | After confirmation, we provide the access code and other necessary information in time for your date of use. |
Notes When Reserving
•
Please provide truthful information. False entries may result in denial, suspension of use, or restriction of future use.
•
Application window: Only dates within two months of application can be requested.
•
Attendees: For safety, only 50 or fewer can be requested.
•
For exclusive use (limiting entry to those the Host designates), we recommend use within 4 hours per day for fairness to other users. If longer use is needed or there is a public purpose, please discuss with the Operator at the application stage.
•
Recurring reservations are allowed for up to one quarter, after which reapplication is the rule.
•
You can check reservation status on the calendar shared by the Operator.
•
If you cancel within 7 days (168 hours) of the date of use after paying the deposit, the deposit is non-refundable and will be used for space operations. If your schedule may change, please discuss in advance at the application stage.

•
Access means are for the Host only. They may not be given to or used by others.
•

Space Access Method
localhost:web3 is a space opened and closed with a card key, stored in a smart key box. The Host visits, retrieves the card key from the smart key box, and opens the space.
1.
Find the key box behind the handle.
2.
Enter the passcode — lightly touch the keypad to wake the screen, enter the provided access passcode, then press the unlock (open) icon. The key box opens with a beep.
3.
Retrieve the card & enter — take the access card from the key box and hold it to the card reader on the door to open it.
•
When finished, be sure to return the card to the key box and close it. The key box locks automatically when closed.
•
If the passcode is entered incorrectly multiple times, input may be locked for about 5 minutes. Try again later or contact the Operator.
4. The Host's Responsibilities
The Host is the primary responsible party for the space and people during operating hours. This is not to add constraints, but to clarify responsibilities appropriate to the role so everyone can use the space with peace of mind.
Participants / Guests
•
As a rule, no entry beyond those listed on the application is expected. If an unspecified crowd is coming, please let us know when applying.
•
If people are unavoidably added on the day, the Host vouches for them and is responsible for any resulting damage.
•
If conflicts arise among participants, the Host mediates.
Facility
•
Photograph the condition of the space before use. It is needed to demonstrate responsibility if damage occurs.
•
If facility damage occurs, keep evidence of who caused it and how. Without evidence, the Host is responsible as a rule.
•
Responsibility is released where negligence by the Operator/Owner is clear, or where it is clearly proven the fault was not the Host's.
Surroundings
•
The surrounding area is residential and the 2nd floor is another office. Refrain from excessive noise and take care not to disturb nearby businesses.
•
If police are dispatched due to a resident noise report, the Host has a duty to inform the Operator.
Mutual Respect
•
localhost:web3 aims to be a space where anyone can stay safely and comfortably. The Host should ensure this standard is maintained during the event.
•
Discrimination or harassment of any form on the basis of gender, age, nationality, background, skill level, etc., is not permitted.
•
Please mediate so a mutually respectful atmosphere is maintained when opinions differ.
5. Prohibitions & Cautions

6. Departure Checklist
The standard is to restore the space to a condition the next user could enter and use as-is.
Restore moved furniture (desks, chairs, etc.) to their original positions
Check the count and condition of provided items (report missing or damaged items to the Operator immediately)
Separate and dispose of waste
•
General/recyclable: rear of the space (by the mirror). Separate coffee cups into plastic and sleeves; pour drinks into the sink
•
Food waste: place in a food waste bag in the bin next to the parking lot
Photograph the post-departure condition and send to the Operator
Close the space (switch to security mode) and return the card key to the smart key box
Confirm the terrace door is closed, the entrance is locked, and lights are off
Once the Operator receives the photos and finds no issues after inspection, the full deposit is refunded within 3 business days.
If cleaning is insufficient, a 50,000 KRW cleaning fee is deducted from the deposit and future use may be restricted.
